It was an absolute great turn out I
had lot's of fun. I'm so glad I was able to be apart of everything this year.

remembering the nice people in Akeley. My old friends there
are gone Jim, Audrey, Bud. It is a terrrible thing
being in our 50's and friends dieing. I will miss them.

I just want to
say THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to everyone who helped,
planned, sponsored, donated, supported and participated in
this event. What a wonderful day we had! There are not
enough words for me to say how much this foundation means to
me. I am so blessed to be surrounded by so many loving,
caring, giving people. The outpouring of love and support
from this community and the surrounding areas never ceases
to amaze me. I am so proud to be a part of it. I know my mom
was watching over us and laughing at all of our crazy
antics:) I can think of no better way to honor her memory
than what we are doing. I can hardly wait 'til next year to

how proud I am to live in Akeley. Everyone did a GREAT job
on the event. Give yourselves a pat on the back for taking
the time out of your busy lives to put this together.I don't
know anyone these days whos lives haven't been touched by
cancer one way or another.Can't wait until next year to see

the first annual
was fantastic!! It was fun helping before the event and it
was fun fishing. The dance was a blast!! I wonder how Jan's
head feels!! Or Chris's or Bob's!! It would be nice to see
pictures from the head shaving and dancing that took place
Saturday night. I also think the staff at the VFW did a
great job I hope they got a lot of tips!! Andi

Finally getting to look at this...you sent it to my work

Hello everyone!!
Great website, Cathy!! You did a wonderful job. It was so
nice to see the pictures from last years' event and to know
all the good things everyone did for her. She will forever
be in my heart, and in many others. I wish I could have been
there to see everyone pulling their cold butts out of the
lake. Tee-hee!! I'm sure Audrey will be watching this years'
events from above, and be pleased to know she had so many
people care for her, and care enough for others with cancer
to continue these events. You are all truly very special
people. I miss everyone of you. On another note, I'm not
liking Florida. It's too hot here in the summer, but the
winter is nice. I do like going to the beach in January.
However, I'm sorry I ever left Akeley. I will one day return
to live there again. It's the only place that I've ever
lived where people genuinely care about others. If anyone
cares to reach me, I'm at 813-641-9427. I did finally find a
nice place on the ocean, and have an extra bedroom, so if
anyone wants to come visit, give me a call. It's a great
place to vacation, but not a good place to live. Take care
